Whether you're looking to develop your own riding, further your horse's education, or find a place where your horse receives thoughtful, individualized care, Wild Dream Farms offers programs built around the needs of both horse and rider.
RIDING LESSONS
Great riding starts with great horsemanship. At Wild Dream Farms, our lesson program is designed to develop confident, capable riders who understand not only how to ride, but how to communicate with and care for the horse beneath them.
Private instruction is available for riders ages 5 and up, from first-time riders through experienced equestrians. Lessons are individualized to each rider's experience, goals, and progression, with instruction available in hunters, equitation, jumpers, and dressage.
PRIVATE RIDING LESSONS
30-Minute Private Riding Lesson — $65
Individualized mounted instruction focused on developing strong fundamentals, confidence, and effective riding skills. Riders should plan to spend approximately 60–90 minutes at the barn, allowing time before and after their lesson to prepare and care for their horse.
Optional Tack & Untack Service — $10
For riders who prefer to arrive to a horse that is ready for their lesson, WDF can provide tacking and untacking for an additional $10.
MONTHLY TUITION
For riders who want a consistent place in the WDF lesson program, monthly tuition reserves a recurring weekly lesson time.
Once Weekly — $260/month
Includes one 30-minute private riding lesson per week.
Twice Weekly — $520/month
Includes two 30-minute private riding lessons per week.
Monthly tuition reserves your regular lesson time and provides consistency for both horse and rider. Full enrollment, scheduling, cancellation, and makeup policies are provided in the WDF Monthly Tuition Agreement.
MORE THAN TIME IN THE SADDLE
Horsemanship is part of every rider's education at WDF. Riders learn to groom, tack, handle, and care for their horses as they become increasingly independent around the barn. Weather, footing, or horse welfare may occasionally require a mounted lesson to become an unmounted lesson, allowing us to continue developing the knowledge and practical skills that are essential to becoming a well-rounded equestrian.
HORSE TRAINING & Full-Care Boarding
Every horse is an individual, and we believe their training program should be too. Wild Dream Farms offers full-care training programs designed around each horse’s individual needs, experience, and goals.
We begin by discussing the owner’s goals and the horse’s history, then WDF takes responsibility for managing the horse’s day-to-day training and care. There is no fixed number of rides or predetermined weekly schedule. Instead, each horse’s program evolves as they do, allowing us to adjust their workload, training approach, and routine based on their progress, fitness, confidence, and overall well-being.
Training may include mounted work, groundwork, lunging, conditioning, or other exercises as appropriate for the individual horse. Some days, the most productive choice may be a training ride; on others, it may be groundwork, a lighter session, or time to recover. We approach each horse as we do our own—making decisions based on what they need rather than simply completing a prescribed number of sessions.
FULL-CARE BOARD INCLUDED
All horses in training live at WDF and receive full daily care as part of the program. This includes stall care and turnout, hay and grain twice daily, fresh water, routine blanketing, daily medications and basic medical care, holding for scheduled veterinarian and farrier appointments, and regular monitoring of weight and condition.
WDF works to maintain each horse’s established feeding program whenever reasonably possible. We can source the horse’s preferred grain, while owners provide supplements and medications. Additional feeding arrangements, including lunch feeding, can be accommodated when needed.
